We bring together six distinct venues, each with its own story and set within historic, character-rich buildings. All are shaped by the same belief: great hospitality is built on warmth, welcome and the details that make people want to stay a little longer.

Ganley Group Hospitality Purveyors Company is home to a growing collection of pubs and dining rooms across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, including The Fifth Province, Freddie Wimpole’s, Angus & Bon, The Bay Hotel Mornington, The Windsor Castle Hotel and The Carlton Club.

We live for the invisible details of a good room: the glow of the lighting, the comfort of the stool, the pace of service, the feeling that everything is exactly as it should be. When those details are right, they go unnoticed. When they are not, everyone feels it. That is the quiet craft of making guests feel at home.

Where hospitality feels like home.

The image shows a street scene in front of a historic building with decorative architectural details. There are a few people sitting at an outdoor table under string lights, and a beige vehicle is passing by on the street. The building has a sign for the "Bay Hotel" and a marquee sign with event information.

We know our story.
We tell it simply.

A circular logo featuring the words "GANEY GROUP" at the top and "CÉAD MÍLE FAILTE" at the bottom. In the center, there is an illustration of a clam shell opening to reveal a pearl.

A construction manager turned publican, Liam Ganley came to Melbourne from the west of Ireland in 2011 to build places people love. What followed was a group of venues shaped by old bones, local character, and the belief that a great pub is the beating heart of a community.

About The Group.

Interior of a restaurant or cafe with wooden tables, chairs, stained glass windows, a vintage sign, and a hanging light fixture.

Ganley Group breathes new life into heritage landmarks, preserving their old bones while shaping spaces that feel warm, lived-in, and full of character.

We represent the best of Irish hospitality: genuine, generous, and grounded in care. Ours is not a polished performance. It is hospitality with heart; people serving people, done with warmth, good humour, and a close eye on the details that guests may never notice on their own, but always feel together.

We have a soft spot for old bones and buildings with stories to tell. Across every venue in the group, we honour what was already there while shaping rooms that feel easy, welcoming, and deeply local. Each venue is distinct, but the standard behind them is the same: a warm welcome, a good room, and the quiet confidence of people who know their craft.

Our team is made up of people who sweat the small stuff because good hospitality lives in the details.
